This platform exists to put practical cybersecurity problems in front of students who are willing to think technically. The focus is on research, engineering, and working prototypes that address real security challenges, not speed-solving algorithm puzzles.

Each hackathon is designed around specific problem tracks defined with input from practitioners. Participants work in teams, get mentorship from people who do this work professionally, and are judged by panels that include industry, government, and law enforcement perspectives.

The goal is not to produce a polished product in two days. It is to give students a structured opportunity to engage with security problems that matter, build something that works, and learn from the process.
